“Sound and Fluids” is a concert series presented at the Julia Stoschek Foundation. The first event features Audrey Chen, Nick Klein, and Stefan Maier, three musicians working across contemporary composition and experimental electronic music.
With listening at the center, “Sound and Fluids” highlights expanded practices of sound and music, extending to the spatial and corporeal. Starting in October 2025, the concerts take place regularly in the cinema hall of the Julia Stoschek Foundation Berlin.

ARTISTS
Audrey Chen is a Chinese/Taiwanese-American musician based in Berlin whose practice spans voice, cello, and analog electronics. Through improvisation and extended techniques, she develops a visceral and unprocessed sonic language that merges the physical and the narrative into a form of non-linear storytelling.
Nick Klein is a Berlin-based artist working across sound, performance, and visual media. His practice investigates the social and material conditions of sonic production, often situating noise and structure within collective and spatial frameworks.
Stefan Maier is a Canadian composer and sound artist whose work examines the material and speculative dimensions of sound technologies. His compositions and installations reveal the subtle instabilities between acoustic and electronic systems.
Reece Cox is a Berlin-based artist, musician and writer.
