The foundation is non-profit-making and is completely financed by donations, in particular from Julia Stoschek. It was founded as long ago as 2 June 2017 and was recognized as a legal entity on 23 June 2017 by the State of Berlin Senate Administration for Justice, Consumer Protection and Anti-Discrimination.
